The Background
The context
For 8 years, the Pacific Free Trade Zone was hampered by an outdated website that lacked essential features, failed to represent the company’s brand, and failed to connect with its target audience.

The solution
We proposed developing a new website that would convey a sense of modernity, freshness, and institutionalism. We identified that the park’s value proposition was not being communicated effectively, so we proposed reforming the website to highlight the park’s benefits, showcase its state-of-the-art infrastructure, and give greater visibility to the available spaces within the Pacific Free Trade Zone. Additionally, we revamped the case study section and highlighted the flagship companies that already had a presence at this free trade zone to make it more attractive for new businesses.
Contributions to the project
Support from a multidisciplinary team that analyzes and provides solutions to the client’s objectives.
Research
We conducted a benchmark study of other free trade zones worldwide to identify best practices, content structure, design trends, and engaging functionalities.
Site Structure and writing
We modified the content structure to highlight the benefits of the Pacific Free Trade Zone and changed the writing style to a more approachable and persuasive tone.
Web design and development
We developed a design proposal that evokes modernity and minimalism. It conveys formality without sacrificing freshness.
The website
The results
The new website employs a minimalist design with generous white space to draw attention to the Pacific Free Trade Zone's key selling points, such as available spaces. Typographic hierarchies create a clear distinction between sections and content, enhancing overall user experience.
